Antonina Shevchenko
Antonina Shevchenko is a Kyrgyzstani Muay-Thai fighter from Peru as well as a mixed martial arts athlete fighting for the UFC for the Flyweight Division. She is a Kyrgyzstani. Valentina is her younger sister and a fellow UFC competitor. Antonina Shevchenko was the first to start fighting sports by becoming a Muay Thai boxer. Shevchenko made her debut in her first IFMA World Championship Tournament of 2003. Shevchenko defeated Suzane McKell in the finals via a majority verdict. Antonina Shevchenko took home an additional medal in the year 2007 and a bronze medal in 2008 and a gold medal in 2011 and then was named the IFMA Amateur World Muay Thai Champion in the year 2016. Antonia began her professional career in 2003, and she was the winner of the WKC K-1 Light Welterweight World Championship in 2012, the Lion Fight Lightweight Championship in 2016 as well as the WMC as well as the Phoenix FC World Championships in 2016. Antonina's last fight was against Isa Tiedblad Keskikangas, who was fighting at the Phoenix Fighting Championship. She won the fight via unanimous decision. Shevchenko won against Anissa in a unanimously-decided match after which she beat Valerie Domergue in Phoenix FC 4. The promotion ended in the year 2018 and joined Dana White's Contender Series in 2018. Shevchenko knocked out Jaimelene Nievera during Dana White's Tuesday Night Contender Series 11 Antonina TKO'd Nievera with her impressive striking ability in the final clinch with knees placed on her body. Following this victory Antonina was able to sign an UFC contract. Antonina was offered the UFC contract following her win. Shevchenko defeated Roxanne Modeafferi with the unanimous verdict. She then lost her subsequent fight because of the split decision. Antonina returned to the ring after the defeat and beat Lucie Pudddilova at UFC on ESPN Covington-Lawler by rear-naked submissions in the 2nd round. The fight was awarded Antonina the Bonus Fight of the Night. Shevchenko fell to Katlyn and Andrea Lee in three of her subsequent fights. She fought Ariane Lipski, and was also defeated by Ariane. Antonina was recently lost to Casey O'Neill in UFC Fight Night Santos Walker.
