Antonina Shevchenko

Shevchenko knocked out Jaimelene Nievera during Dana White's Tuesday Night Contender Series 11 Antonina TKO'd Nievera with her impressive striking ability in the final clinch with knees placed on her body. Following this victory Antonina was able to sign an UFC contract. Antonina was offered the UFC contract following her win. Shevchenko defeated Roxanne Modeafferi with the unanimous verdict. She then lost her subsequent fight because of the split decision. Antonina returned to the ring after the defeat and beat Lucie Pudddilova at UFC on ESPN Covington-Lawler by rear-naked submissions in the 2nd round. The fight was awarded Antonina the Bonus Fight of the Night. Shevchenko fell to Katlyn and Andrea Lee in three of her subsequent fights. She fought Ariane Lipski, and was also defeated by Ariane. Antonina was recently lost to Casey O'Neill in UFC Fight Night Santos Walker.
